I love thanksgiving and the holiday season because it reminds me of everything God has done for me and my family. We have so much to be thankful for this year. We hit our one year milestone of living in Ashland. The rest of our family moving in the same neighborhood. Everyone finally settling in and find our place. Everything is just falling into place so perfectly, there's no doubt that it's Gods work. One thing that sticks out for me this thanksgiving though is switching my major to early childhood education. God was ALL over that, as there is no other possible explanation for why I suddenly woke up one morning feeling so overwhelmingly convinced that I needed to change majors. And I had no idea that it was literally at the only time I was able to switch. AND nothing needed to come out of pocket to make the change. Also, I was able to get a job that counts towards my practicum at the same time! Not only that, but I can easily say I am the happiest I have ever been since switching majors. I absolutely love working in the school with the kids. I immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable, if I wasn't so sure it was God I would describe it as unbelievable! I am just so extremely thankful for the kids I see everyday and for being "Miss. Cawabreeze". I may come home tired and with a headache most days, but when I get back home I can't wait to see them all again the next day. I love where God is guiding me and the journey He is taking me on. I cannot wait to see what else He brings my way and when I can eventually have a classroom all of my own. Thank you, God, for showing me my passion and directing me every step of the way! I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving full of blessings as well. There's so much to be thankful for! Much love and God bless, -X ps.
